Isaiah is passionate about giving back to the community. He co-founded the Isaiah Stewart Learning Center, God's Vision afterschool services program to empower young people through education, creating opportunities for personal growth and development. 

Isaiah's Story

Isaiah Stewart II, born on May 22, 2001, in Rochester, New York, is a professional basketball player for the Detroit Pistons in the NBA. Standing 6 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 250 pounds, Stewart plays as a center and power forward. He started his high school career at McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester before transferring to La Lumiere School in Indiana, where he earned prestigious accolades, including Mr. Basketball USA and Naismith Prep Player of the Year.

 

After an impressive freshman year at the University of Washington, where he averaged 17 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, Stewart declared for the 2020 NBA Draft. Drafted 16th overall, he launched his professional career with the Pistons, becoming known for his tenacity on the court.

 

In addition to his basketball achievements, Isaiah is passionate about giving back to the community. He founded the Isaiah Stewart Learning Center, God's Vision afterschool services program to empower young people through education, creating opportunities for personal growth and development. 

 

Beyond the NBA, Stewart has represented the United States internationally, contributing to the team’s gold medal victory at the 2018 FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup. Through both his athletic career and community initiatives, Isaiah Stewart continues to inspire and uplift the next generation.
